New First Grade Teacher

INTRODUCING Miss Taylor Anderson!

We are excited to announce our new first grade teacher, Taylor Anderson. Miss Anderson recently graduated from Minnesota State University – Mankato with a degree in Elementary Education and a STEM Certification. During this past school year, Miss Anderson was a student teacher in a first grade classroom in Rosemount for the entire school year.

During her college years, she also taught faith formation classes at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in New Prague, MN. That is also where she currently lives. In addition, she was a member of Scott County 4-H. She spent her time in 4-H participating in Youth Teaching Youth where she had an opportunity to teach students about peer pressure and internet safety.

Miss Anderson had this to say about joining St. John’s, “I have already witnessed the incredible support the St. John the Baptist community has to offer, and I cannot wait to share my passion of teaching and Christ with every student I encounter.”

Given her experience in teaching religious education, student teaching in a first grade classroom, and her love of integrating STEM into her classroom, we know that Miss Anderson will be an invaluable asset to our students and families.

Please join us in welcoming Miss Taylor Anderson to the St. John the Baptist family!
