I am Sister Grace and belong to Franciscan Clarist Congregation from Kerala, India. I am very happy to be a joining St. John the Baptist Catholic School and the Community in Vermillion.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in History from Mahatma Gandhi University Kerala, India and a Master’s degree in Theology specializing in Consecrated Life from the Latern University in Rome. I earned a Diploma in Special Education from Rehabilitation Council of India, New Delhi. I taught in the School of Mentally Challenged for nine years and I taught one year in an Elementary school in Kerala, India before I came to the United States on December 8, 2018.
In 2019, I earned a CNA Certificate from the Minnesota Department of Health. I worked in a Nursing home, The Rivers, at Burnsville from May 2019 to July 2022.
When I was studying in Rome, I had a chance to meet Pope Benedict XVI and I got to visit many cities in Italy: Assisi, Nettuno, Padua, Venice, Milan, Pisa, Siena, Perugia and Florence. I also visited other countries in Europe: France, Portugal, England, Germany and Switzerland. As part of my studies in Rome, I had the privilege of visiting the Holy Land for ten days.
I enjoy being outdoors, gardening and sewing.
