I am a member of Franciscan Clarist Congregation from Kerala, India. I have been teaching fourth grade at St. John the Baptist School and parish Faith Formation program since 2004. I feel very blessed to be part of our wonderful parish and school community.
I earned a BA in Education and a MA in Economics from Mahatma Gandhi University of Kerala, India. I taught in a Catholic elementary school for ten years and in a Catholic high school for three years before coming to Vermillion in 2003. During the first year I spent some time with the sisters of Notre Dame in Mankato helping them in their classrooms at Loyola Catholic School in Mankato and doing some volunteer work in the school. I taught the Fourth Grade at St. John the Baptist School from 2004 to 2020. Since then I have served as the Educational Specialist in the Elementary classrooms.
In 2009 I earned a MA in Curriculum Instruction with a Reading Certificate from the University of St. Thomas, in St. Paul, MN.
I love teaching young children, and it has been wonderful to see my students bloom and grow as learners and faith-filled young people throughout the years. I love cooking, gardening, and listening to Christian devotional songs.
